College Chemistry - Please Help?
A student performing his work study ignment in the chemistry laboratory stockroom made up the following mixture: 16.336 g of magnesium chloride, 4.662 g of sodium chloride, and 5.442 grams of potium chloride dissolved together in enough water to make 500 mL of solution. Using a pipet, he gave each student in the lab 50.0 mL of this mixture. They were to treat it with silver nitrate so�lution, collect the precipitate and dry it according to instructions, weigh it, report its m, and also the m of chloride ion in their sample. What value should each student report for these two items?
