Trying To Get Back Into Horseback Riding! Betty?

I have riden before and am trying to get back into it as a summer activity (I know it will be hot), but the thing is lessons are very expensive. Also the barn I used to ride at no longer gives lessons so no one knows me in the horseback riding world and i don't know them. i would like to work for lessons and i have asked my mom if any of her friends own horses and would allow me to work for lessons but the only one she will not call becuase she says she does not know them good enough. Please give me some tips on how to find a barn and or person who will let me work for them. I live in Marion County, Ocala, Florida if that helps any and i am almost 11. Please help me out i am going crazy i miss horses so much!!!!!!
