I need help in animal crossing city folk?

Hopper (the penguin) asked me to give him some new clothes. so i went to the able sisters and bought him a shirt that i thought he would like but he keeps saying that he doesnt like it, i've tried giving him over 10 different shirts but he keeps saying he wants something more refined. What do i get him. PLEASE help i spent over 10 000 bells trying to find him a shirt.
