He would have made the 1972 Presidential election race a lot closer, and Nixon would not have had the landslide he enjoyed, as many people who voted for Nixon in November would have voted for Wallace, as in 1968. However, had Wallace not been shot and paralyzed, due to changing political cirstances, the message he adopted and put across, such as being for more limited government, strong law and order etc, would have been partially adopted and remoulded by someone like Ronald Reagan, as it actually was.

We bought our sofa from there at Easter. Once we'd made our choice the staff in the shop we more interested in going home (it was near closing time) than sorting out the paperwork, and it did take a bit longer than we were told for delivery (which actually suited as we were still decorating) but after that no problems. They were very good at arranging delivery dates, even holding onto it for a while longer so we could finish decorating, and delivery men were friendly and helpful. It has since developed a squeak but shop person (different store) was very helpful and gave us a number to call and they are arranging to send someone out to look at it. Overall, not bad, especially considering some companies.

Trying To Get Back Into Horseback Riding! Betty?

I have riden before and am trying to get back into it as a summer activity (I know it will be hot), but the thing is lessons are very expensive. Also the barn I used to ride at no longer gives lessons so no one knows me in the horseback riding world and i don't know them. i would like to work for lessons and i have asked my mom if any of her friends own horses and would allow me to work for lessons but the only one she will not call becuase she says she does not know them good enough. Please give me some tips on how to find a barn and or person who will let me work for them. I live in Marion County, Ocala, Florida if that helps any and i am almost 11. Please help me out i am going crazy i miss horses so much!!!!!!

My best friend's mom hates me?!?

I had tearing with my first birth, what might happen with a second?

I had a 4th degree tear with my first child. Since then things have never really been "normal". I have occasional bleeding with and the skin have just never seemed to be really healed. Why does it hurt my feelings that my two sisters are so close?

My oldest and youngest sisters are like best friends. I never really had an opportunity to be close to either because of life situations (moving in with husband while they stayed home etc.), although we maintained good relationships. Failed my first math midterm of the quarter.?

I'm a freshman in my second quarter of college, math has never been my strong suit. This has made being a pre-med student increasingly difficult for me. I pulled off a C in calculus last quarter and I began this quarter promising myself that I would do better. I went into my first midterm and froze, resulting in an F on my first midterm. I'm really, really nervous and wondering if I should drop the cl, but I realize that dropping it would not do me any good, because I need to complete 2 more quarters of calculus for my major. Our grades are weighted 25% for 2 midterms, 40% for the final, and 10% for the homework (which I will probably get ~90% on). Suggestions? I don't think you made a mistake, but if you're doing so well at home, why not home school him? My son had the same problems at school, and the choice to home school made things easier for everybody involved. The public school system basically caters to the "average" child. In the situation of a gifted or disabled child more often than not, they are lost in the shuffle. Educating your son at home will allow you to design the curriculum around him, not him and 20 other children with varying degrees of ability. Home schooling doesn't have to be done during regular school hours, you could continue to educate him within the same time frames you have already implemented.

15 month old's diet, does this sound normal?

It sounds to me like she is getting plenty to eat. Her taste buds are probably changing right now so she isn't going to eat some of the things that she used to but will like some things that she wouldn't eat before. At least she is eating though. How do I make him understand that our marriage is over?

I have been married for 16 years. We have been together for over 19 years. In the beginning of our relationship everything was as close to perfect as could be. No one gave any less than the other. As the years have gone by I feel like I am slowly drowning and at times I feel death has got to be better than this marriage. I am not perfect and I have contributed to the decline of my marriage, by allowing myself to be sucked into the tit for tat games he likes to play like who can call the other the nastier name or who can hurt the others feelings the most. We started out with both of us working and bringing everything to the table. Is there a stainless steel fireplace insert conversion for my home?

On February 19th I received the worst phone call ever, my 55 year old father had a mive stroke at work and was being rushed to the hospital, He died the next day. Today was my hearing, which the officer attended, When the judge called me to bench he asked the officer his side of the story and then asked me mine, I explained the emergency and told him that it was an emergency phone call that I needed to pick up and I was not in the right frame of mind, 5 minutes after findingout that my dad was dying. The judge turned to me and said" If you weren;t driving father while he was hving the stroke, it was not an emergency phone call" You are guilty and hereby fined $180. I thought it would come down to our field goal kicker who although young he has a strong leg. As it turns out he kicked three 40+ field goals that would have been good from 60 yards. If he would have missed some of his kicks then who knows how momentum would have changed. The Saints played well in all phases of the game and to me the MVP was Coach Payton. The reason I say that is he designed this team and took a pay cut to bring in the defensive coordinator. I just got a Crown tail Betta about a week ago, I had him in my 2 1/2 gallon tank temporary for a week to make sure he was good and healthy before putting him in my 10 gallon, He is very active and lively also very shiny, he doesn't seem sick and I haven't noticed any protruding scales. I have a tank with a divider and a Betta on the other side. When Sydney (my crown tail) saw my other Betta (Morris) he naturally flared at him and I noticed a sac looking thing by his gill, It was the same color as his body (white pinkish color) and I didn't see it after he stopped flaring. Could he be sick or is it natural or just a deformity. Any answer would really help I really care for my Betta's, If he is sick I would like to treat him as soon as I can. Thank you.

I read it when I was in junior high school, long before the movie version was filmed, and I enjoyed it. The movie is considerably different, and it doesn't feature the "smart suits" the trooper wear into combat.The movie also makes "the Bugs" literally just big insects, where the enemy was alien but more or less humanoid in the novel.
