Anyone a Beowulf expert?

1) Beowulf wants a towers built for himself because he wants to be remembered. He wants people to see it and remember what he did. 2) He kills Grendel by pulling his arm out and cracking his skull open. 3) Beowulf is the only one that can kill him because he is an archetypal hero. He is destined to kill him in order to prove himself. In the end an archetypal hero is almost always rewarded.
