Vacuoles can function in _______ and ____________ in the cell.?

Vacuoles contain aquaporins that control osmosis through active transport, pumping potium ions in and out of the vacuole. So, because this organelle stores water and has membranous proteins that regulate the cell's hydrostatic pressure and internal pH level (something that water affects), my answer is "D"
